i was playing with ink.... modelling after Tim Holtz. that guy is talented!
so the 2 tags on the left are with the embossing resist technique. FUN!
stamp an image, emboss. ink the rest of the paper. that was lots of fun! and then put the tag/paper in between two layers of scrap paper and iron until the embossing bleeds through the scrap paper. that leaves the original image showing through. i like this technique! i then sprayed with glimmer mist - LOVE that stuff!
the tag on the right is stamped stuff with some grungeboard hinges on the side.
i got these scraps of scallops from some other stuff i had die cut at JSI. left overs! it's a great way to use up some scraps!
going to have to make some more into Christmas cards!
So
i'm not sure that i'll show the inside at this point. it's more of a journalling thing. maybe someday.
and you know what? - i hate colds. day 3 of it. the worst. can't breathe, and starting to cough. oh well. this too shall pass!

vo to you for trying out the Tim Holtz stuff - it got to too many steps for me and I quit! But I love what you did!
Love the paper you used on the front cover of your Faith Journal - I just used that paper the other day on a page from our anniversary - year 2000 - I will post it on my blog soon.
That first word is Bravo! Don't know where the "Bra" went. :)
