So - I was going to meet my folks and we were going to go camping in AB. but. didn't work out.
they went to the campground. totally full. cuz AB forest services has/is not allowing public access to the forests because of extreme fire hazard. they even told people with seasonal trailers in the forest to get them out. eek! so i'm really glad we're not camping there! i think the campground they went to was the closest one to that banned area so everyone headed there. and so my folks headed back home.
we're at home just hanging out. it'd been nice to go camping and we may head off on monday when most go back to work. cuz i'm off work until the 20th! Yippee - not that i don't enjoy my job but it's been slow.
eating fresh cukes out of the garden. yummmy... LOVE fresh cukes. and it rained here last night so the cukes are mostly washed off and taste soooo yummy for breakfast!
now to go and check out Photoworks in the Swift Current Mall - they've got some lovely 7Gypsies paper and a LOT of scrapbooking stuff (for the size of Swift - it's a LOT) not like JSI or Scrapbookers' Paradise lot - but enough!
and maybe some other shopping....
