Happy National Scrapbook Day to you!
it's a day full of things. this morning i'm hoping to get a start on some layouts for different challenges on different online forums. Scrapshotz has an awesome crop going... but then so do all of them. the challenges on Scrapbooking Fanatics are awesome.
which one to pick? do i pick one or do something from them all? hmmm. i'm loyal to each in their own way. i post on all of them (i belong to - or i'm a member on 6 different scrapping forums)... i don't just join one, post a few times and then find a new one and drop the older one. i like seeing what other people are working on. i like getting involved in them. some are more friendly than others. some make you feel inferior... or like you're not quite good enough. others - welcome you with open arms and comment on your posts and layouts. some of have cliques/groups and if you're not one of them... ick.
and that's my deep thoughts for today.
so:
i'm going to try and work on these challenges today and tomorrow.
1) then and now
2) best friend
3) childhood memory
4) some THING - not a person....
5) mother
6) 70's
at least i have the photos for these!
plus finish 2 CJ's - one's almost done - and the other is still percolating.
PLUS i'm off to LSS for the afternoon.
don't know how much will get done. but i've put into writing so i'm accountable!
did i say that i joined another challenge contest? that would be the Hot Shotz at ScrapShotz.... got the first layout done! so it's all good.
this is a really good way for me to do layouts - otherwise i'm just doing cards and altering things.... which isn't all bad either!
Thanks for the comments! Julie - i didn't pose that much for those photos - just take the camera in front of you and make a face and hit the button! I got the inspiration from Laura and Sharon when they did those funny face photos... So Thanks to you 2 too!
off i go!
