Ali Edwards is showing her December daily book - she pre-made the book and then during the month of December is adding photos & journalling every day. so i thought i'd try it too. just like a load of others... but hey it's a good thing! so this is the inside of my binder. I used a Janet Hopkins Junk Binder (coming soon to a shop near you), that i got at CE this fall. love the binder. and i added a load of other pages and stuff. The cover is below. the scan really doesn't show the glimmer on this very well.
but it was fun to play with! stamping, masking and glimmer - it's all good.
T!m Holtz is posting about the 12 Tags of Christmas again this year and he provides AWESOME technique instructions. the tag here is my attempt at his technique. love the mask. i inked over the mask, stamped over top of that. swiped off the excess and then, because the tag was a little to stark - added some patina glimmer mist. it's really hard to see in the scan - but it's there! love that color. a piece of grungeboard, and so rub ons. then the stickles. both the regular type and the distress type. i think i like the look of the distress better for somethings!and the second day's technique is alcohol inks... so off i go to play! have a great one!
