On the 12th day until Christmas... it's snowing! and more snow....

Tim Holtz was doing the 12 tags of Christmas and oh my. Those are fantastic tags. wow. he's a really creative person. i'm glad he's posting techniques - it's a great learning tool.
i've been playing with some of those techniques. i just have to put the scans on my photobucket and then i'll upload here. no where near the caliber of Tim Holtz but i had fun. it's really fun experiementing! gotta get me some more distress inks and crackle and dabber paints. fun fun fun! or at least update the paints i have. my MM paints are drying out and can't get the tops off! and i really need to get a stazon black ink. it really would work better ontop of embossed stuff. the ink i have is just smudging off.
and Paper Trails has the grunge board in. i'm so there on Friday to check it out!
Tomorrow night is our section Christmas supper. That's going to be nice. Semi-formal. iek. gotta find a nice dress in my collection. i don't think i've worn a dresss for a long time! it's the nylon things. hate them. and i'm not about to go without. not when it's theres snow out there!
Then on Friday is the Det luncheon. all 160 of us. that'll be interesting. should be noisy and fairly good food. at least it was last year.
and that's my ramblings on a Wednesday night.
oh - you gotta check out the Ali Edwards book - Life ARtist. seriously. great book. very inspiring and liberating!
